1796/5 Draped Bust Half Dime VF30

We gave this a conservative grade because it's almost certainly been repaired. Even under high magnification it's hard to tell what was done, but it has the look and the cleaning that's usually done to bring back the color. Details support a grade near XF40. Cleaned, but now with very pleasing golden brown tone. Completely mark-free. Second nicest of only 3 examples we've handled, and a rare opportunity to fill an almost impossible hole in the early half dime set
