1848-O Liberty Seated Half Dollar AU58

Incomplete mint mark. Die marriage 3-A, the 3rd use of this reverse die. The mint mark is completely broken at the bottom. ex. Dick Osburn collection. Full light gold luster, semi-prooflike, with just a faint touch of very light tone. No notable rub, but a few light contact marks and hairlines indicate a very short period in circulation. A great example of this scarce variety!
