1849 Liberty Seated Half Dollar NGC AU58

Repunched date (not noted on the holder). A depressed area on the planchet below the date caused weak digits at the bottom. Probably as-minted due to a planchet flaw. It isn't characteristic of this variety. A very interesting coin! Flashy gold luster under very light even tone. A great example of this scarce variety
